India is a democratic country and I think everybody except few must know that what is democracy.
Democracy: it is that political and constitutional process in which candidates who will run the country legislation will be elected by the people by secret casting of their vote.
Candidate merit or party reputation ?
People mostly not only in india but most of the world elect party based candidate not on merit base.
In indian context this is very much true because candidates merit or demerits are not consider in mind while indian people cast their vote. They just think that this party is right or wrong , so their choice of candidates are 95% based on party likes and deslikes.
I am surprised to know that even we have become so educated and entered in 21st century but we are same orthodox as we were in 16th or 17th century. We are now effecting great due to social media.
We just make our openion about election candidates on social media bases or propaganda type news . This is not a right or mature practice . We should become mature and cast our vote for those candidates who are educated , who have good knowledge about their constituency and who are honest , uncriminalin record etc.
When that time will come ? When people of india will start to elect their candidates on their merits rather than belonging to particular party.
It's our responsibility to educate people that how they should choose their candidates. They should not cast their vote by noticing ,pressure, emotional feeling but totally on the candidates worthnes.
